Mechanical Engineer (Entry-Level)

Primary Job Duties/Functions:

• Entry level Mechanical Engineering position. Under working supervision and following established procedures, assists in performing required engineering support functions in Core Group or on Task Force. Potential openings/assignments in Rotating Equipment (Hydraulics/fluid flow), Heat Transfer, Vessels (stress/strain, materials, etc), Engineered Systems (combinations of the above plus controls), and Materials and Welding (Materials, metallurgy, welding coatings, etc.)

Basic Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equal, with emphasis on area of specialization.

Other Job Requirements

• Working knowledge of computer office systems (word processing, spreadsheet, data base) and internet.

Preferred Qualifications

• Part-time, summer, or internship work experience in the technical aspects of engineering or engineering support operations is a plus.
