Senior Environmental Scientist

The company we represent has a successful history of partnering with its global clients  to deliver engineering, environmental, social and safety performance solutions in most sectors including infrastructure, resources, government and property. They now seek to appoint an environmental professional with extensive experience in complex site assessment and remediation projects.
 
This role will see you applying your skills and experience on varied and exciting major projects. To be considered it is essential that you have experience assisting with contaminated site audits, working with and advising teams of engineering and technical experts and have an understanding of the consulting environment. As this role will be based in Perth, knowledge and a practical understanding of WA DEC contaminated sites management series (or VIC or NSW equivalent) is required.
 
To be successful you will need:

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Civil, Chemical, Environmental),  Science (Chemistry) or similar
• Demonstrated experience in contaminated land assessment and/or auditing
• Demonstrated experience in preparation and execution of technical work plans
• The ability to work across multiple team and project  priorities
• A track record of successful contract, financial and decision making
• An understanding and commitment to HSE and quality
