Mechanical Technologist – Solidworks

One of BC's leading manufacturers of heavy machinery associated with the oil and gas as well as the mining and minerals industries is seeking a talented Mechanical Technologist - SolidWorks to join their team.  This position can be designed as a control role for the right candidate.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will design heavy machinery components in accordance to design specifications as determined by the senior engineer and client.  You will utilize SolidWorks extensively in the design process.

Position Requirements:

• 2 to 5 years experience as a Mechanical Technologist with demonstrated skills in the design of heavy machinery and/or industrial machinery using SolidWorks
• A post-secondary diploma in a recognized technologist program
• Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to work with a diverse team
