Structural Designer

We are currently seeking high caliber Intermediate and Senior Structural Designers to work on a contract basis.

Based in Calgary, Alberta, you will be working for one of the world's leading engineering, procurement and construction companies.

Job Requirements:

  • Conduct the design and analysis of structures, buildings and foundations.
  • Experience working on an engineering project team.
  • A diploma from a technical college in a related field
  • Effective communication skills and ability to interact with other disciplines, field construction team, supporting geotechnical consultants and clients.
  • Prepare construction specifications, design criteria, develop structural concepts and maintain efficient interdisciplinary and client communication.

You must have experience in:

  • Candidates will have 7+ years experience in heavy industry, preferably in mining, mineral processing, or heavy industry performing EPC/EPCM projects.
  • Experience using Structural Engineering software such as SP3D, Microstation and Frameworks.
