Planning Engineers must have the following attributes for this role :
- Must be degree qualified
- Civil or Environmental Engineer with 5-10 years experience in the planning of water and waste-water infrastructure
- Experience with at least one of the key water or waste-water network modelling packages such as H2OMap, H2ONet, Mike Urban,H2OSwmm, Mouse, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, and good GIS skills
- Experience and interest in working with and mentoring junior and intermediate engineers
- While key focus is on system planning, experience( and/or interest) in design, asset management, PUP or water/ waste water treatment
- Experience in master planning, netserve ( or infrastructure charges) and ability to think strategically around critical water, waste-water and recycled water issues.
- An interest in the integrated water cycle would be well regarded.
