Health and Safety Advisor - Exploration

This is a rare opportunity for a Safety Advisor to join a multi-national at an exciting time of their exploration activities in Australia.


This company is currently undertaking a number of exploration projects with a view to mine development and construction in the medium to long term. 


Reporting to the Senior Manager you will take responsibility for developing OHS procedures for the exploration and drilling programs and activities on these projects. These camps tend to be quite large in personnel and in remote areas. Naturally, you will be expected to visit these site areas from time to time.


You will be a committed safety professional with OH&S qualifications, with at least 4 - 8 years relevant experience under your belt. You must have had experience in onshore exploration and/or drilling activities for oil, gas or metals and be familiar with legislation, audits etc. in this context. Please note: these projects are not at construction phases, just exploration.


This is a Perth based position with travel to site required (loading and leave benefits apply in this instance) about 25% annually. It is a permanent job and therefore offers genuine long term career opportunities both domestically and internationally.
