Civil Estimator

About the Job
Our company is a fully diversified national construction and property development group which has recently expanded into Civil Works.​  Our Civil Business requires a motivated, talented Civil Professional to join its team.​ 

You will be responsible for completing Tenders and Submissions from pre-tender through to handover to the construction team.​

As the successful candidate you will need to be a self starter who is highly motivated, well organised and committed to the highest possible work standards and safety.​ You will also have the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients and subcontractor.​

To be successful in this position, you must have proven skills in the following areas:

• Minimum of five (5) years experience as a Civil Estimator or minimum of five (5) years Civil Site experience  
• Relevant tertiary  qualification (Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Management, Diploma of Engineering, Bachelor of Engineering)
• Analysing, evaluating and interpreting a range of complex and technical documents, including relevant regulatory, legislative, and licensing requirements, codes and standards, plans, drawings and specifications, invitations to tender, contracts and procurement reports.​
• Preparing complex business documents, including development proposals and feasibility studies, tenders, reports, project schedules, and process maps.​
• Communicating effectively with all internal and external stakeholders.​
• High level of understanding of Safety, Health and Environment to ensure safe delivery of projects and maintain a culture of safety and health above all else
