Exceptional opportunity for a senior environmental planner to join this leading Engineering Services Group on projects throughout NSW & ACT. Working in concert with environmental scientists and engineers, this established and successful Planning team which prides itself on its researched and consultative approach will support a varied and challenging array of projects, with a focus to provide environmental management on infrastructure & transport related projects.

The position offers the perfect opportunity for an experienced Environmental Planner / Scientist who would like to further develop a Planning team covering a range of job responsibilities, e.g. planning approvals EA, EIS, SEE, REFs; existing Part 3A applications; post approvals management - EMPs; Compliance Auditing; Project Management; and Stakeholder Consultation. As a lead and advisory role it is potentially suitable for an Associate to Principal level Environmental Planner with 8-12+ years experience - engineering consultancy or from a commercially oriented government authority.

Your tertiary qualifications and experience should include relevant environmental sciences / engineering or planning degree, that should include the planning approvals and permitting, Environmental Management through the project Planning and Construction lifecycle, Senior Stakeholder negotiation and Community Consultation facilitation. Detailed knowledge and application of the NSW Environmental Planning & Assessment Act is essential.
