As a result, we are in currently searching for an experienced HSE Manager with a strong underground mining project background to either work on site in regional Queensland or be Brisbane based.  You will have Owner's Team or tier one EPCM/Contractor experience and possess a demonstrated understanding of safety of heavy industrial project experience on projects exceeding $1b. To complete your profile, you have good leadership and communication abilities, and are able to build relationships at various levels of an organisation.  Your tertiary or post grad qualifications will be in health and safety related fields and as the successful candidate, you will also have:-

• Strong HSE Manager background in mining (8 + years in management role)
• Project experience valued at $1b+
• Ability to deal with a variety of key stakeholders
• Strong experience on projects in Australia
• Underground experience HIGHLY DESIRABLE
• Stable employment history with long term employment tenure ESSENTIAL
