About the Role: Our client is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor of the highest calibre for a major resources project in Western Australia. The successful Quantity Surveyor will be based in our clients Perth CBD office. You will have the opportunity to go on site and be involved in future FIFO projects if desired. In these positions you will have uplifts between 35% and 50% for working in remote areas.    

• Pre and post contract cost management 
• Opportunity to work on varied prestigious projects  
• Managing detailed budgets and cost plans 
• Preparing and interpreting turnover / cash flow projections and profit / loss forecasts 
• Undertaking the valuing of variations and potential variations 
• Financial control 

This role would ideally suite an experienced Quantity Surveyor or  who is seeking more variety and exposure in their role. Quick development to Senior positions is on offer to the right candidates. Our client is also looking for applicants who are interested in working within the building, transport, infrastructure and utility sectors.

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar 
• A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role 
• Experience on projects such as oil and gas processing facilities, mine site infrastructure, chemical processing plants or power stations will be highly regarded but not essential 
• High levels of business acumen and commercial knowledge 
• Excellent Interpersonal skills and ability to lead and inspire 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels
