Boilemaker

The role:

• The role involves maintenance and repairing of equipment and machines to ensure the availability thereof as well as the fabrication and maintenance of components. 
• Provide advice and guidance to interested parties related to area of expertise i.t.o. processes, standards, best practices, research etc.
• Identify and provide structured and targeted skills development opportunities in the workplace. 
• You need to ensure that assistance is provided pro-actively or when needed or asked for by the supervisor or other team members. 
• Your work ethics must be of such a nature that it benefits the company and  everyone working for it. 
• You need to adhere to all safety & health standards and promote good housekeeping on an on-going  basis.

You will need:

• You will need to have good problem solving, planning, tool handling and fault finding skills. 
• You need to be familiar with SHE policies and procedures, and have the ability to interpret drawings. 
• You need to be self-confident and safety orientated as well as demonstrates good interactive communication skills

Requirements:

• You will need a Grade12/N3
• Plater/Welder Trade qualification
• 3 years maintenance experience as well as a valid code driver’s license. 
• You will be required to pass a medical fitness certificate in order to be considered for this position.
• This position is Non-EE.
