Finisher

Job Description

• Eaton Corporation has an immediate opening for a Finisher to work 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) at its Brooklyn, Ohio Manufacturing Facility.
• The primary function of this position is to: set-up, operate, assemble and perform preventative maintenance on worksite machines such as grinders, saws, drills, mills, presses, heat treaters, shot blasters, and other equipment; performs all types of work, within the capacity of the machines. Other responsibilities include inspects, stamps, and deburrs, operates material handling equipment with the worksite area; set-up and operate a broach and drill; manual drills, keyseaters, gear shapers, tap burn-out machines, and balancers; paints, washes, performs layout, assembles minor parts, and perform other types of finishing activities.

Basic Qualifications:

• A High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year grinding and/or mill, drill experience
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position
• Only candidates residing within the greater Cleveland, OH area will be considered for this position

Position Criteria:

• Proficient in all aspects of set-up and operation of assigned equipment
• Ability to follow simple instructions and learn process sequence
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and geometric tolerances
• Ability to cooperate with employees of other department with whom the work must be coordinated
• Must be safe conscious and have a good attendance record
