Description:

• Recruiting a Checker for a mining group based in Phoenix. This position offers the right person the opportunity to join a dynamic company as it expands its specialty into new areas, work on some of the most interesting projects in mining, and enjoy the security offered by an employer that almost always negotiates work (not bid it).
• The Checker will be responsible for QA/QC of the engineering product. A successful candidate will have a fair amount of experience with large-scale industrial construction, and probably with both infrastructure and moving earth. A very successful candidate will have experience with mining. Ultimately, the main priority for this person is to remotely work with a team working on what will be a very, very large underground gold mine close to India.
• The group has more than doubled their revenue over the last five years and successfully competes with some of the largest mining consultants in the world. Benefits, salary, and 401K for this position are very good.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a 2 year degree in drafting/design, or equivalent industry experience
• Five years drafting experience in large-scale industrial construction, relating to both infrastructure and moving earth
