Project Engineer

Our client is a leading civil contractor in QLD, who have a number of exciting projects in pipeline across the region, they have an extensive and diverse client base and are currently working with some well known and respected blue chip Mining Companies, over the years they have delivered Projects which have shaped QLD's emerging Infrastructure.

We currently have several vacancies for experienced Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers to be part of Major Infrastructure projects within Central and North QLD. These fantastic opportunities would suit Civil Engineers with more than 3 years or more post graduate experience, There projects have just commenced, great opportunity to be part of new project teams.

Responsibilities:

• Successfully complete contract works to client specifications whilst maintaining all safety, environment and quality systems and standards.
• Assist with selection and management of all resources, including plant, labour and subcontractors.
• Review and acceptance of client programs, Assist in management of field staff and operations.
• Ensure all programming, reports and controls are completed,
• Effective reporting and communication with senior management, Project Manager, Project Engineer, Supervisors, construction workers and relevant client contacts.

The successful applicant must possess:

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering
• 2-5 years civil construction experience, experience across a variety of small to large civil projects,
• Good verbal, written, interpersonal and organisational skills
• Well-developed computer skills and knowledge of databases, spreadsheets and in-house engineering programs
• Good organisational, administration and time management skills.

Remuneration: 
An attractive salary for the successful applicant will be negotiated including Site Allowance +Uplift, FIFO is available from most cities.
