Reporting directly to the Senior Mining Engineer, this role is integral to the Technical Services Team. You will provide effective survey control and spatial information services for operations, mine planning, environmental, CHPP and other customers. Some of the key areas will involve providing survey control, end of month volume calculations and reporting, ensuring statutory requirements are met and conducting engineering surveys for mine infrastructure.
What we need;
Tertiary qualifications in mine surveying or a similar discipline.
Registered Mine Surveyor or ability to gain this qualification.
Demonstrated experience with GPS and one person survey stations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, JDE, Vulcan, Minescape or similar software packages.
Ability to effectively establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
