This position is located within the Technical Services Team and is responsible for providing survey 
 
As a Surveyor, the primary purpose of your role is to provide the operations with spatial information and survey support. 
 
Reporting to the Specialist Surveyor, the key Accountabilities include:

• Provide survey control and measurement as required for exploration drilling, Geotechnical monitoring, mine planning, blasthole drilling, overburden removal, coaling, IPCC and associated operations.
• Provide accurate spatial data, plans and mining information in an appropriate and timely manner.
• Maintain design data and accuracy of HPGPS machine guidance systems
• Timely and accurate end of month pit and stockpile pickups and volumes for physicals reporting.
• Complete exploration, site infrastructure and topographic surveys as required.
• Maintain data in the mine planning systems to ensure a high level planning input is maintained
• Apply technical knowledge and skills to identify problems
• Facilitate and implement continuous improvement
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders 

You will possess:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications.
• Experience in the mining or civil engineer industry with exposure to open cut survey processes.
• Registration as a Surveyor with Mining Endorsement 'O' or the ability to obtain this.
• Strong problem solving and decision making capability with a professional level of design and planning skills.
