New mine and port development project requires an experienced scheduler. This Perth based role is offering a long term contract and great rates.

We are seeking an experienced Scheduler to work on a mine and port expansion project. This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly expanding EPCM and be involved with this trademark and challenging project.  Your position will be responsible for scheduling, project progress and performance reporting, cost planning and resource leveling, senior level capabilities in scheduling and management.
 
The strongest possible Project team has been assembled and you will support and work closely with some of the industry’s leading professionals. You will be given the forum to grow your project skills and utilize your Primavera experience to make a large contribution to the team and take your career to a new level.
 
Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:

·         Liaise with and obtain information from contractors, site superintendents and area managers for updating and reporting purposes
·         Resource loading of project schedules, leveling and analysis
·         Prepare regular status reports and forecasts for project management and client review
·         Prepare revised contract programs and schedules
 
Experience working for a global contractor or EPCM will be highly regarded as is experience in using the various Project Management software tools, especially Primavera P6.
 
Required Competencies and Skills: 
 
·         Minimum 7 years + hands on industry experience in planning and scheduling and creation of a master schedule in EPCM design or construction environment
·         Demonstrated knowledge and ability to produce and revise resource loaded schedules
·         Experience and ability to use nominated planning and spreadsheet software (Primavera P6)
·         Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Program
·         Demonstrative knowledge of conceptual and detailed planning of small to large EPCM projects from conception to commission
·         University Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or a related discipline
