Mine Surveyor

Key responsibilities of this role include:

Meet all safety requirements for the role
Be a proactive, positive and safe member of our team
Manage other survey staff and their daily work requirements
Coordinate pegging of mining areas
Ensure supply of accurate survey data to relevant parties
Measuring total volume of material moved
Surveying mine configuration
Providing comprehensive and timely contributions to daily, monthly and other periodic reports
Create and maintain positive, productive relationships with suppliers, contractors, stakeholders and staff
Ensuring compliance with company administrative policies and procedures

The successful candidate will have the following:

Relevant experience in a similar role (minimum of 5 years) (preferably including some iron ore experience)
Minimum Grade 2 Mine Surveyor certification
Computer literacy including competency using Surpac software
Ability to pass a medical and drug and alcohol screen
Current driver’s license
Legal entitlement to work in Australia on a permanent basis
