Mine Surveyor

Key responsibilities of this role include: 
  • Meet all safety requirements for the role
  • Be a proactive, positive and safe member of our team
  • Manage other survey staff and their daily work requirements
  • Coordinate pegging of mining areas
  • Ensure supply of accurate survey data to relevant parties
  • Measuring total volume of material moved
  • Surveying mine configuration
  • Providing comprehensive and timely contributions to daily, monthly and other periodic reports
  • Create and maintain positive, productive relationships with suppliers, contractors, stakeholders and staff
  • Ensuring compliance with company administrative policies and procedures
The successful candidate will have the following:
  • Relevant experience in a similar role (minimum of 5 years) (preferably including some iron ore experience)
  • Minimum Grade 2 Mine Surveyor certification
  • Computer literacy including competency using Surpac software
  • Ability to pass a medical and drug and alcohol screen
  • Current driver’s license
  • Legal entitlement to work in Australia on a permanent basis
