Electrical Technical Training Officer

Mining and construction company on the East Rand are urgently looking for ETDP professionals

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level
• Qualified tradesman
• ETDP qualification preferential
• Qualified assessor beneficial

Job Specification

Main Responsibilities or Functions of Job:

• Support all our URE Customers throughout RSA and neighboring countries
• Ensure quality electrical training is provided to our customers – internally and externally on all underground products
• Liaise with product company technical department and forward relevant information to Product Support where applicable
• Design, develop and prepare quality training material
• Ensure that all URE training records, filing and reporting is kept up to date
• Assist with troubleshooting on equipment when required – internally and externally
• Assist other CMT departments in the company as and when required
• Ensure customer satisfaction
• Control costs of company assets

Required Skills and Capabilities:

• Good product knowledge on Atlas Copco equipment
• Be able to understand and cope with basic hydraulic systems
• Computer literacy
• Good customer relations
• Interpersonal skills to work with all customers and work as part of the Parts and Service team
• Be presentable to customers in grooming and dress code
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid passport – not essential
