Service Technician

The incumbent will be responsible to perform a service to clients with regards to repairs, inspections and training of client personnel to Company standards on pumps on site.

Minimum Requirements

Specific responsibilities (not limited to):

Effectively represent the interests of Company with end users, contractors and vendors at site and/or in local areas as appropriate.
Act as the prime communication channel between Company (South Africa) and its clients, vendors and third parties as appropriate.
Address and resolve problems with equipment supplied by Company or others.
Work safely at all times, conforming to all local and site regulations concerning discipline, safety, etc., and any special regulations which may be laid down by clients
Maintain regular contact with the operational base, to keep management informed on the work progress, problems encountered, opportunities and risks as they arise.
Compile and submit clear, concise reports relating to the current assignment weekly.
Working from sketches, machine drawings and verbal instructions, using various machine tools and assembly equipment to construct, repair, service and inspect various types, sizes and applications of pumps.
Analyze requirements of machinery and equipment to be built, develop own work techniques for effective service.
