Job Description:
The Candidate will report to our Clients After-treatment & Cooling Products department. Centre of Excellence for machine, marine and engine cooling systems. The division designs, analyzes, and develops cooling components and systems for internal and OEM applications around the world, supporting articulated truck NPI programs
Experience:
• Candidates must have some experience in thermal science (fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer) and components (all types of heat exchangers, fans, etc.).
• Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated motivation and teamwork.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
• The Candidate will be responsible for conducting cooling component NPI design and development activities.
• The Candidate will work on various machine mounted cooling system components.
• The Candidate would also be responsible for coordinating all supplier related activities, creating technical specifications, conducting design FMEAs and reviews, procuring prove design hardware, validation testing and analysis activities, leading problem resolution and cost reduction activities, providing overall input to the cooling component APQP process.
• The Candidate will work with other individuals from design, analysis, test and global purchasing.
Basic Hours: 37
Salary/Rate: Up to £35,650 depending on experience
