Job Description:
- [Company] is currently seeking an experienced individual for a Senior Accountant position. The hiring company is a leading precious metals and mining exploration company located in Winnemucca, Nevada.
- As a Senior Accountant, responsibilities will include but are not limited to, assisting with reporting and interpreting financial data and maintaining internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations, assisting with preparation of reports which summarize company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings, based on past, present, and expected operations, and preparing of the budget and financial forecasts, institutes and maintains other planning and control procedures and analyzes and reports variances.
- Ideal candidates will have 2-5 years’ experience working in senior accounting position within the gold mining industry. Applicants must have a Bachelors degree in accounting or related field.
- This is a full-time opportunity. Compensation for this job is $75-$95,000 annually. This position offers benefits which include: medical, dental, optical and optional 401k.
