Soils Technician

Job Description:

  • [Company] is currently seeking experienced individuals for a Soils Technician. The hiring company is a global leader in the engineering, project management and consulting industry and is located in Winnemucca, NV.
  • As a soils technician, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, collecting and analyzing soil samples, setting up and operating instruments used to collect data, as well as preparing and maintaining all relevant documentation.
  • Applicants must have a nuclear gauge certification and an MSHA certification is strongly preferred. Ideal candidates will have experience in nuclear density testing including compaction tests. Candidates with previous experience working in the field supporting mining operations are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • This is a contract position lasting 3 weeks. Compensation for this job is $20-$30 per hour. Candidates will be required to travel to remote locations. This position offers benefits which include medical, dental, optical and optional 401k.
