Responsibilities
- Perform work in connection with large-scale construction projects. Responsibilities may include: operation planning, cost control, project scheduling, quantity tracking, material procurement, and contract administration. Maintain records as required regarding job progress, costs, material usage, etc.
- May assist in planning and scheduling of job and/or job segments. Work with suppliers as required facilitating the handling and expediting delivery of materials. May be involved in the district estimating unit. This involves quantity takeoffs, site visits, estimating the work, sitting in on estimate reviews and helping to close out the bid.
Qualifications
- Preferred Associate Degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Technology, Computer Aided Design / Drafting or similar program.
- Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in an engineering office environment.
