Senior Geologist

Silver Mountain Mines Inc. (”SMM”) is a Canadian based company focused on exploring, developing, and re-opening the Ptarmigan Mine-Iron Cap silver and gold deposits in South Eastern, British Columbia.

To achieve our goals, we are seeking a senior geologist with minimum 10 years experience to manage the overall exploration of the Ptarmigan Property which hosts high-grade Ag-Au-Cu and Pb-Ag veins and manto deposits.

Reporting directly to the President, the Senior Geologist will be responsible for a number of deliverables including, but not limited to:

• effectively and efficiently delivering the overall work program
• compiling all current exploration data including soil/silt sampling, diamond drilling, and surface and underground sampling into a suitable GIS packages
• preparing a 3D model and interpretation of the Ptarmigan Basin area (including historic underground workings, surface trenching )and drill holes
• preparing resource estimates, developing and recommending exploration programs, managing and supervising field crews during the field season.
• reporting work progress and findings at a frequency defined by Senior Management

The Senior Geologist will preferably have experience working in challenging mountainous terrain with complex structures, stratigraphy, and mineralization. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual capable of working independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent computer skills and working knowledge of GIS and 3D modelling packages. The Senior Geologist will be responsible for preparing NI 43-101 technical reports and will act as the Company’s Qualified Person.
