GeoServices Sector Head

We are currently seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer Sector Head for our client’s Edmonton branch office, specifically with experience in geotechnical and geological engineering. The employer has agreed to pay for relocation for an experienced candidate.

Work will include design and management of comprehensive geotechnical investigations, including field and laboratory studies for infrastructure development, highways, railways and mine development. Incumbent will be reporting to Geo-Services Sector Manager.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Civil Engineering and eligibility for registration with PEO and APEGM Preferably with a postgraduate degree in geotechnical or geological engineering
• Good understanding of basic and advanced soil mechanics
• Good people, project and financial management skills
• Marketing, business development, good customer service skills and managing clients to satisfy their needs

Experience:

• Min. 7 years experience in ground investigation, geotechnical laboratory testing, geotechnical design and interpreted reports
