Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer

We are currently seeking an Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer for our client’s Ottawa branch office, specifically with experience in geotechnical and geological engineering. Employer is willing to pay for relocation of a suitable candidate.

Work will include design and management of comprehensive geotechnical investigations, including field and laboratory studies for infrastructure development, highways, railways and mine development. Incumbent will be either reporting to Geo-Services sector head or sector manager depending upon the location.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Civil Engineering and eligibility for registration with PEO;
• Preferably with a postgraduate degree in geotechnical or geological engineering
• Good understanding of basic and advanced soil mechanics.
• Minimum of 7 years experience in ground investigation, geotechnical laboratory testing, geotechnical design and interpreted reports Good people, project and financial management skills
• Marketing, business development, good customer service skills and managing clients to satisfy their needs
