Exploratory Project Geologist

The Client
Our client is a small to medium sized exploration consultancy based in Adelaide. Their sole remit is the identification of Uranium deposits in WA and SA.  They are a subsidiary of an international energy consultancy which offers full circle solutions to Power companies worldwide in the engineering, construction and operation of  renewable Energy and Nuclear Power Plants worldwide.

The Role
  • The client has an immediate need for an Exploratory Project Geologist to work remotely in SA but based permanently in Adelaide. This is a non FIFO role.This will be a hand's on position in identifying, exploring and developing our clients existing and proposed Uranium assets. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Locate Uranium extraction sites or Uranium deposits
  • Design of large scale exploration programmes
  • Mapping and interpretation of collated data
  • Design of drilling trajectories
  • Supervision of exploratory teams
Required Experience
For this role our client has preferable specific requirements. They are as follows:
  • Tertiery level education or higher in a Mining related Scientific or Engineering discipline
  • 3 - 4  years experience in an exploratory geologist role
  • Previous experience relating to Uranium exploration is preferable but not essential
  • Supervisory experience in previous role
