Client:
Our client is a renowned global engineering and design consultancy who delivers innovative solutions across the resources, urban development, architectural, environmental, transportation and government industries. With over 6000 staff across their national and international offices they continue to deliver excellent and innovative solutions to its clients.

With excellent growth across its minerals division, they now require a Construction Manager to lead major resource infrastructure upgrade projects in its Perth office.

Role:
You will be responsible for the management and mentoring of the Project Management construction team. You will also be producing contracts, terms and conditions and providing commercial knowledge on construction matters. Other key responsibilities include the development and implementation of work schedules, conducting peer reviews and providing technical solutions for major projects. Development of key relevant project construction documentation for maintaining compliance and standards and overall construction monitoring will also be key duties in the position.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years plus experience within Construction Management positions and overall 15 years plus experience. Previous mining project experience essential
• Previous EPCM project experience essential
• An extensive knowledge of civil infrastructure including roads and earthworks and other associated non process infrastructure
• A track record in supervision and management of construction staff and other project staff
• Excellent client coordination and contractor management capabilities
• Solid reporting capabilities and leadership capabilities
• Excellent knowledge of construction safety processes, negotiation and decision making skills
• Understanding of contracts and formal university tertiary qualifications a strong advantage
