Job Specification

Responsibilities:

SHEQ :

Manage and support SHEQ initiatives to achieve company and legal SHEQ objectives

People Management and Development:

Ensure development of the Newcastle plant team to meet company and legal objectives

Plant Management:

Systematically define and follow all the activities of the Plant, identifying and implementing corrective measures to ensure continuous improvement, implementing wherever necessary, technological and operational adjustments.
Ensure that set performance objectives are met.

Budgeting:

To define, propose and to control the long term budget (3 years), annual production plan, operation budget and CAPEX.
Ensure achievement of production objectives including management of stock levels of raw and subsidiary materials and equipment.
Manage the plant costs, particularly maintenance and production costs, analyzing deviations and then defining and implementing corrective measures whenever necessary.
Implement and assist in development company policies and procedures ensuring that standard operating procedures exist for all critical operations of production, maintenance and administration.

Communication:

Develop on-going good relationships with NPC central support functions and other operational teams to ensure synergy and co-operation to achieve objectives.
