Human Resources Business Partner

Our client based in Free State,35 kms north of Kroonstad in the Free State. The incumbent will be required to provide a generalist Human Resource service to the business unit to ensure adherence to all organizational HR policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 plus relevant HR Degree or Diploma
  • At least 3 years HR generalist experience, including but not limited to Employee Relations, HR Development, Organisational Effectiveness, Remuneration & Benefits, Recruitment & Selection, Performance Management
  • Competence in all MS Office computer programmes, i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, etc.
  • Code 08 drivers license
  • Prior exposure to any HR Information System
  • Working knowledge of SAP R3 HR Modules would be an advantage
  • Professional membership with HR body would be an advantage
  • This post is dependant on being declared medically, physically fit and security clearance  

Job Specification

  • Advising Line management on relevant legislation and company policies and their impact on inter alia conditions of employment and working relationships with employees.
  • Advising Line management on appropriate HR and organizational effectiveness processes and labour requirements.
  • Provision of a holistic HR generalist role including inter alia, recruitment and selection, employee relations, remuneration, talent management, skills development, etc
  • Assisting line managers and employees with general queries & advice
  • Planning and implementing HR projects
  • Ensuring that all administrative aspects are in place
  • Customer service orientation
  • Stress tolerance
