Project Controls Manager

Job Specification

• An exciting opportunity exists for a Project Controls Manager within a High profile Mining organisation in Gauteng

Role description

• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, scheduling (CPM) and analytical reporting including baselines development and Earned Value Management Systems
• Advanced computer skills and knowledge of the most current industry standard computerized project control applications, such as cost and planning software; working knowledge of computer relational databases, computer estimating systems and budget control monitoring techniques
• Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
• Strong business acumen and high level of numeracy.
• Manage and control budgets, plans and scheduling
• Effective communication and reporting
• Data entry
• Continuous follow-up, time management and prioritizing of work
• Full accountability to control costs
• Tracking projects against budget
• Manage integration and multiple programmes

Who we're looking for

Education / Qualifications:

• Degree in a technical field
• Qualification in Project Management
• 5 to 10 years experience in project management of which 5 years should have been in planning/scheduling/controls function
• Industry experience
• Commercial Business experience is prerequisite
• Project management
