Our client is a national player on the international market with expertise in mining, manufacturing, and materials handling all undertaken on a global scale. An industry leader, this Client is blue-chip and an employer of choice across the entire Australian market.
The great news is that our client is expanding its Hunter Valley operations! With government approval, our client is planning to increase its production significantly over the coming years. To meet this need, EMA are working to secure an experienced Process Engineer in the Upper Hunter Valley.
To be considered eligible for this role, you will be a degree qualified process engineer (ie. Bachelor of Engineering - Chemical). Your career history will demonstrate your vast expertise in process design, control, operations all with the utilisation of supporting tools. In addition, you will know your way around all aspects of the coal industry and will be able to demonstrate your experience in a similar role.
The Role:
A Conceptual Study will be undertaken for the first 6 months looking at the expansion plans and then it will be moving into full detail design.
In the Conceptual Study you will be:
• Validating the expansion
• Managing the scope of works
• Developing the Feasibility Study and
• Developing options from pre-feasibility
In accordance with our Client’s Fatigue Management Policy, you must be willing to live in the Upper Hunter Valley during the week – please note that this is not a fly-in, fly-out position.
In addition, you must be able to demonstrate your commitment to living by current safety principles in both your workplace and private life.
