Job Description

Planning of Water projects:
Feasibility Studies
Options Analysis
Master Planning

Design of Water infrastructure, which may include inter alia:

Large Diameter Pipelines
Pump Stations
Water and Wastewater treatment facilities
Dams (Earthfill, Rockfill, Concrete)
Mining Water(Process, Distribution, Water Balance, Dewatering, Discharge)
Sludge and Slurry Handling
Interface with Mechanical/Electrical components
Compilation of Specifications (SANS 1200 & CoT formats)

Project Management

Project management experience (minimum of 5 years), preferably software development projects, with a good knowledge of PMBOK
Experience in business processes re-engineering
Computer Competency Requirements
Working knowledge of computer scheduling programs,
Microsoft Project as a minimum requirement
Experience of Primavera P6 will be an advantage
PSNext will be an advantage
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
Management of design and construction processes
Client liaison
Reporting
Records
