Our client is looking to recruit a permanent Drafting Manager to join their Development Team working on various industrial, commercial and residential land projects. 

Reporting to the director, the successful candidate will lead a team of two drafters through the land development process.  You will be responsible for dealing with architects, engineering consultants, coordinating the designs, preliminary estimates, budgets and negotiations with councils.

A reputable and well established land development company based in Mackay focusing on industrial, commercial and residential land development. The company has several active projects ranging between $3M - $35M and their workbook is consistently growing.

Job Details:
  • Providing management and support to a team of two drafters
  • Responsible for dealing with architects, engineering consultants, coordinating designs, preliminary estimates, budgets and negotiations with councils
  • Working on various projects ranging between $3M - $35M
  • Ideal opportunity for structural engineer, senior drafter or architect looking to settle long term in Mackay
  • Salary negotiable dependent on experience
Minimum requirements:
  • A minimum of 4 years experience of working on commercial, industrial or residential land development projects
  • Previous team leading or management experience
  • Excellent communication, land development experience and management skills
  • Must be permanently based in Mackay or willing to relocate
