Field Technician

Job Description:

• An industry leader in heavy equipment maintenance and repair is actively seeking a Field Technician to join their growing team in Colorado Springs, CO. This company is known for offering good pay and hours, and a reputation for low turnover.
• This person's primary job duties will be to work in the field while performing maintenance on heavy construction equipment; such as Articulated Trucks, Bulldozers, Excavators, Scrapers, Front End Loaders, Motor Graders and Backhoes [Caterpillar or Cummings brand equipment].

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have experience with construction equipment/mining equipment
• Must have experience working with Articulated Trucks, Bulldozers, Excavators, Scrapers, Front End Loaders, Motor Graders and Backhoes [Caterpillar or Cummings equipment]
• 7-10 years’ experience
• Will be responsible for Field Service work, and must be open to being on call
• Must be comfortable as a mechanic in both a shop environment as well as in the field
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record required
• Ability to pass a standard drug and 7 year background check
• Must be Cummings or Caterpillar Certified
• Journeyman level experience
• CDL's A & B's preferred but not required
• Must be able to provide your own tools

Additional Details:

• Monday - Friday 8-5, plus OT
• On call responsibilities are required
• $25/hr.
