Associate Accountant/Accountant

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Billing for sales and purchases of Transmix, finished gasoline and diesel products
• Validate invoices (AR/AP), A/R tie outs, and delinquency reports
• Follow up with customers on outstanding balances
• Accounts payable / AR aging analysis
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• General ledger account validation for accruals
• Perform monthly accounting close by coordinating with other team members to ensure all activity is properly considered in the financial statements
• Demonstrate ability to analyze financial information and recognize significant variances, trends, and irregularities
• Other general accounting duties will be assigned as the Transmix business grows

Position Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
• Minimum 3-5 years related experience
• Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Must be flexible and able to work effectively with a team, handle multiple priorities simultaneously, focus attention to details, and follow work rules
