Marketing Manager
Position Summary
- This position has responsibility for achieving targeted growth and profitability objectives for a large portfolio of safety components products with global revenues exceeding $10M. While the position is located in North America it has a Global reporting structure.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Create and maintain the long term Business strategy to be used as the basis for subsequent annual operating plan activity and product implementations over the planning period.
- Identify, pursue and manage strategic relationships
- Determine the general direction of the business marketing research and forecasting function.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to provide globally competitive products and market share growth.
- Assure that we provide customer solutions and meet customer needs in quality, delivery and service.
- Establish product and market objectives to meet existing and anticipated customer requirements.
- Launch new products through close coordination with commercial marketing, field sales and distributors.
- Supervise the development of expense and capital equipment budgets for the Business.
- Management of a team of 3 to 5 Product Managers.
Minimum Qualifications
- BSEE or other Technical degree
- Must have a background the Industrial Automation market space.
- Must show demonstrated success in Sales or Product Marketing specifically as it relates to defining Sales, Business or Product strategies within the Industrial Automation Market space
- Must be an energetic leader with strong communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Managed a portfolio of products in a Global environment
- Other customer facing experience such as Sales, Key Account Executive, Business Development, Alliance Management, etc.
- Experience working in a highly matrixed organization.
- Experience in the Machine or Process Safety.
- Direct experience as a competitor.
- Prior people management experience.
