Division Controller
Position Summary:
- Responsible for all finance, accounting and IS personnel and activities within the Southeast Division, consisting of the South Georgia and Offshore Districts. Manage all financial reporting and Division-wide implementation of related systems or projects. Responsible for annual financial planning, monthly forecasting and close, and associated analysis and reporting, and credit and collections. Safeguard company assets and conduct all business in accordance with Company policies and applicable laws. Work closely with the senior Division management team to understand, analyze, and lead the business effectively. Provide leadership, training, and development of Division finance and accounting personnel. Position reports to the Southeast Division President.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience required; Master's Degree a plus.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
- Ten or more years’ experience in the Accounting field, in positions of increasing responsibility.
- Five or more years’ experience leading and managing a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in manufacturing and/or a matrix organization preferred; experience in mining or construction materials a plus.
- Proficient computer skills (MS Suite); advanced Excel user required; experience with and knowledge of JD Edwards, Arcplan, Seltec, TM1 a plus.
- Travel is required,etc.
