Business Systems Analyst III

• [Company] is seeking a qualified Business Systems Analyst III. This position will reside at the corporate office in Irving, Texas.
• This position is responsible for support, implementing and maintaining new and on-going configurations of COMMANDseries and its supporting modules in. This position works closely with business users of the system to ensure business processes are optimized through configuration of the appropriate COMMANDseries modules and related technologies. Additionally, this position will be responsible for configuration and support of plant control systems.

Essential Responsibilities and Tasks

• Proactively identifies opportunities to improve business processes and the use of business application tools and technologies
• Provides functional/business support (including after hours), in various areas of expertise, for users of our Ready Mixed Concrete related systems i.e. COMMAND series, COMMANDbatch, Jonel, Trimble Truck Tracking, COMMADqc, TMT Fleet Maintenance, etc.
• Provides documentation and training updates and maintenance
• Provides analysis, development, testing and implementation of interfaces, system changes and data conversion
• Responsible for version updates, testing and validation
• Provides supplemental training material development and classroom delivery
• Develops and maintains system use guidelines and procedural documentation
• Serves as senior subject matter expert for specific COMMANDseries, COMMANDbatch and COMMANDqc modules
• Analyzes end-user functional requirements, maps business processes, develops workflows, develops functional and technical specifications, and develops effective business solutions according to defined schedules and budgets
• Ability to travel about 25% of the time.

Minimum Qualifications

• College degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Prefer 5-8 years’ experience in an Information Technology (IT) role; an emphasis on aligning business requirements with IT solutions and project work.
• Prefer 2-5 years’ experience working in a Ready Mixed Concrete operations area like QC, batching, dispatch or maintenance.
• 5-8 years’ experience with COMMANDseries, COMMANDbatch, COMMANDqc and other related RMC technologies including upgrade and implementation experience.
• 5 years’ experience with mobile fleet signaling, knowledge of Trimble mobile signaling is an asset.
• 5 years batch controls and automation experience is desired.
• 5+ years knowledge of ready mix, aggregate and/or cement operations and their corresponding front office business processes including quality control and is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of process and systems analysis methods.
• Proficient in development of system and user documentation.
