Summary and Essential Functions

  • The Innovation team co-op will focus on understanding and developing solutions for client ideas through interviews, research and development and prototype development and delivery. 

The co-op position will:

  • Research and develop  solution(s) for ideas  generated by business unit associates.
  • Develop and test prototype solution(s).
  • Present prototype solutions for review, understanding and approval – making changes as needed.
  • This role will consist of a 2 part employment, one summer (May - Aug) followed by a consecutive 12 months of employment following a return to school for one semester.  EEO

Job Description - Requirements          

  • Applicants should be currently enrolled in a degree program in the fields of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Business with a focus in Computer Science.  Project work is preferred in programming – any of: .net, java, C-Sharp, C++, IOS; Database – SQL server; MS Office – Expert Excel, Strong Power Point, Strong Word.
  • The right candidate will be analytical, have strong communication skills- both written and verbal, be a proven self-starter, a curious learner, and have a passion for construction / mining business, enjoys working outdoors
