Summary and Essential Functions
- To ensure order fulfillment and dispatch load plans are executed accurately, effectively and efficiently in order to minimize costs within a market and maximize customer satisfaction while maintaining effective business relationships with contract haulers, operations, sales and customers. To resolve issues, escalate as needed and project a professional, service oriented image through all written and verbal communications, working under minimal supervision from supervisor. This position refers high level or complex issues to a Sr. Specialist or Supervisor.
Job Description - Requirements
- Direct, control and participate in the execution of order fulfillment (order taking, hauler dispatch, scale operations and ticket handling) by managing the sourcing and delivery process to minimize costs and maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in capitalizing on sourcing to effectively and efficiently source in the market. Identify, evaluate and communicate alternative solutions. Collaborate with Sales and Operations to execute.
- Recognize, escalate and assist in taking action on orders (i.e. quotes, pricing or contracts), that deviate from established practice and work with the necessary group to resolve the situation. Work directly with operation & sales teams on a day-to-day basis to achieve the desired results in driving order fulfillment and sourcing objectives.
