Job Description:

• [Company] is the leading producer of batteries and energetic devices for the defense, space and commercial industries, and provides the most experience and broadest capability in battery electrochemistry of any battery supplier in the United States. It offers a wide range of battery technology including thermal, nickel hydrogen, lithium carbonmonofluoride, lithium thionyl chloride, lithium manganese dioxide, lithium sulfur dioxide, lithium ion, reserve lithium oxyhalide, custom battery assemblies and silver zinc batteries. EPT also provides other energy products and pyrotechnic devices for the defense industry as well as advanced battery chargers and other power solutions for business, industrial and recreational applications.

Job Summary:

• Will have responsibility for all day to day activities of the IT Applications staff. Role will involve managing and mentoring on all Plex ERP system and supported application software initiatives including but not limited to SQL, Autocad, MS Office & Minitab. Role requires communication with all departments and users division-wide. Strong manufacturing background in Aerospace, Defense and/or Medical industry is desired.

Ongoing Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring enterprise applications at the division level are supported for all users
• Ensuring that all applications are in compliance with [Company] policies, procedures and standards
• Develop system strategies in coordination with designated vendors
• Develop and manage the operating and strategic budgets for the application functions
• Provide resource management to achieve defined objectives
• Manage overall risk and issue mitigation for all business applications
• Ensure compliance with SOX and SAS70 requirements

Position Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
• Five plus years supervisory experience
• Ten plus years of ERP experience, preferably with Plex Online
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other online ERP systems helpful
• Project management skills required. PMP certification helpful
• Demonstrated understanding of process and process improvement
• Manufacturing background preferred
• Background in QMS helpful
• Able to communicate effectively to all levels of employees
• Willing to travel
• Requires excellent project management skills and experience managing project activities across all phases of a software development life cycle
• Strong functional and technical knowledge, including Accounting, Sales/Customer Relationship Management, Production Management and Material Management
