- [Company] is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental Generalist to manage all aspects of health, safety and environmental issues for its Webb City and Seneca, Missouri, facilities and to aggressively manage workers compensation and property risk. HSE Generalist will be an integral member of the leadership team to drive the success of the business.
Ongoing responsibilities include:
- Managing all aspects of health and safety issues for the Seneca and Rangeline facilities. Will aggressively manage federal and state compliance requirements, property risk, and will be an integral member of the leadership team to drive the success of the business.
Ongoing Responsibilities include:
- Manage, implement, review, and revise all federal and state regulatory safety and health compliance programs (DOD, ATF, OSHA, ATF). This will include Hazard Communication, Emergency Action Plan, Process Safety Management (PSM), Bloodborne Pathogens, Fall Protection, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Hearing Conservation, Respirators, Lock-out / Tag-out, Over Hoist and Crane, Electro-Static Dissipation (ESD) Reduction Plan, Confined Space Entry, and Hotwork.
- Lead and conduct Incident Investigations
- Responsible for providing Health and Safety program related training for all applicable employees
- Accountable for ensuring daily, monthly, and annual compliance requirements are conducted
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of a BS in health and safety related field
- Minimum of 3 years in a responsible health and safety position
- Minimum of 3-5 years working with work related explosives
- An understanding of DOD, EPA, ATF, and OSHA regulations
- An understanding of OSHA’s Process Safety Management standard
- Knowledge of Worker’s Compensation laws
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong computer skills
- Industrial Hygiene experience is a plus
