Engineer-Technician

Job Description:

Job Summary:

• Technician role is to support the Product Development group in all phases of Development activities. This will involve helping to develop processes and build prototypes for new cell and battery designs. This will include, but not be limited to: Tooling and fixture design, operation of equipment, hands-on assembly, and documentation of results.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent;
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Detail oriented
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word , Outlook and PowerPoint)
• CAD / solid modeling experience a plus
• Excellent record of attendance and reliability
• Strong communication skills; able to communicate well and train others as needed
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Strong team player; able to interface with a variety of groups
