Our client is one of the largest engineering companies. They continue to successfully deliver a range of major mining, petrochemical, process and infrastructure projects throughout the world.


They currently have a great opportunity for an Area Project Engineer - Civil to play a key role in the development and implementation of a major EPCM port project for a mining client. This is a long term project where you will be able to apply your management and technical skills to deliver on and close out the work packages on the designated area of the port project.


Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Plan specific project activities and tasks to deliver end results until contract close-out
Setting Schedules for the completion of works and budgeting activities
Identify and provide project engineering support specifically to procurement and construction packages
Project designs meet operational requirements and specified engineering standards.

You will require:
Understanding of and ability to follow Company & Client policies and procedures
Understanding HSE regulations and standards
Tertiary engineering qualifications with EPCM experience
Ability to lead and manage a diverse team
