What you will be doing:

• Personal safety as well as the safety of co-worker
• Manage all aspects of estimating a study, bid or projects $1B plus in value
• Build and lead a team of top class estimators
• Coordination and limited direction of estimating functions to provide high-quality estimates to upper-level estimators in a timely manner, in which the information is reconcilable to source data
• Self-check of his/her work and that of subordinates to ensure accuracy
• Design or assist in the design of a Work Breakdown Structure that is suitable for capturing all cost components
• Participate in estimate reviews and presentations to Management and Clients
• Interaction with all project personnel, engineers and fellow estimating and project controls team members.

The company's provides Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) for pit to port services for the minerals and mining industries. This company has a strong history of delivering quality Engineering Consultancy Services and remains one of the most trusted names in the industry.
  
To apply for this role you must have:

• An estimating background circa 6+ years experience in an EPC/EPCM environment either here or overseas
• Ideally 10+ years experience in multi-disciplined  projects
• A engineering degree qualification in Australia or be recognised by Engineers Australia as a qualified engineer.
• Either mining or oil&gas experience estimating  projects above $500M
• You will be highly regarded if you also have:
• A similar background from either Project Planning or Controls
