My client provides world class engineering, management and specialist technical services to clients across Australia and internationally. They are looking for Senior and lead structural engineers to join their experienced team.
Immediate opportunities exist for Brisbane in the delivery of major mining and bulk materials handling projects.
With a variety of roles and projects on offer, general responsibilities will include:
• Design of mining and marine related structures including transfer towers, gantrys, walkways, retaining walls, structural steel frames, reclaim conveyor systems, pipe racks etc.
• Conceptual design of the above infrastructure from studies and investigations, through to Engineering Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM).
• Preparation of conceptual design, cost estimates, take-offs and technical documentation for various tenders.
• Project management and delivery of structural packages.
Successful applicants will be degree qualified in Civil / Structural Engineering coupled with relevant experience in a consulting / EPCM project environment delivering complex mining and infrastructure projects within Australia. Candidates with a background in coal, bulk materials handling or minerals processing projects will be highly regarded.
My client will take on contractors on a long-term basis (minimum 12 months) or permanent staff for these positions - they are offering leading market rates.
