Earthworks, Haul Roads, Bridges, Creek Levees and Pipe work projects valued at over $100M dollars are about to commence in North QLD and our client is giving experience Civil Project Managers the chance to secure a place in QLD’s mining boom. Where most employers within civil infrastructure are adamant that exact experience is needed, our client recognizes that your years of civil experience within Australian civil contractors on either large roads projects, concrete structures or bulk earthworks has given you the skills to make this transition into mining infrastructure a smooth one. So if you want to take advantage of the growth in mining, yet getting frustrated by the failure of others to recognise the value of your experience, you should already have applied to this role!
The successful applicants must have experience delivering large scale civil infrastructure projects with a focus on earthworks, roads, bridges, levees and pipe work to be considered. Mining experience is not essential, to your application, but a proven ability to deliver will be.
Based in Central Queensland, this position is offered on a FIFO basis and is also easily accessed from Townsville, Rockhampton, Gladstone and Mackay. Should you wish to relocate to the region, a local daily commute option would be available to those choosing to live local to the project. What we’re looking for:
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Experience delivering high profile civil infrastructure projects
- Excellent PC skills including the use of applications for financial management, budgeting, resource allocation and programming
- Proven history in running safe projects
- Australian Civil Contractor Experience
