Senior Electrical Design

Working with a well respected multi-disciplinary consultancy that has a worldwide reputation for quality performance, our client is ready to execute their long-term strategic planning. As a result they are on the lookout for a Senior Electrical Designer to join their team of professionals. You must be able to display strong skills with AutoCAD or Microstation as well as being able to mentor less experienced Electrical Designers. This role offers the successful candidate the chance to move into a higher role and potentially progress to a Lead position.
As a key member of this highly skilled team, you have a key focus on preparing engineering models, drawings and documentation. You will also be responsible for ensuring checking procedures are in place to prevent errors in designs and guarantee designs are effectively met on the project. Industry leading rates are on offer (paid weekly), coupled with the likelihood of additional work beyond the term of the contract, which gives you excellent job security!
Qualifications, skills and experience:
- Eligible to work in Australia
- Previous Oil & Gas experience or materials and handling
- AutoCAD &Microstation experience is essential
- Experience with 3D modeling is highly regarded
- SmartPlant experience will be highly regard
- Minimum of 10 years electrical design experience
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
